Plan your visit to the Sydney Opera House WHAT TO DO IF YOU CAN NO LONGER MAKE YOUR PERFORMANCE DATE There are plenty of eating and drinking options in both of these precincts where you can dine before the show and catch up with friends. The Walsh Bay and Sydney Opera House precincts are busy and can be congested. We encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of the performance start time. Performances begin at slightly different times across our four venues and on certain days of the week. Remember to check your venue and the time of your performance on your tickets or order confirmation email. It can be chilly in the theatre or by the harbour where our venues are located, so an extra layer is useful. A ‘smart casual’ approach will always be appropriate.
